Regular massage is a system of long strokes, kneading and friction on the superficial layers of muscles, combined with active and passive movements of the joints. Used to warm tissue & promote general relaxation.

Deep Tissue Massage releases chronic patterns of tension points in muscle tissue, tendons or fascia using medium to heavier pressure on contracted areas.

Myofascial Release frees adhesive bonds between fascia, muscles, tendons & bones. The fascia is manipulated, directly or indirectly, which allows the connective tissue fibers to reorganize themselves in a more flexible, functional fashion. Assists in eliminating pain, increases range of motion & integrates structural balance.

Therapeutic or Medical massage is the use of several deeper techniques for when more than one soft tissue issue is being address in the same session. Can consist of but not limited to Deep Tissue, Connective Tissue Release, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point therapy and Sports massage.

INSURANCE BILLING

We will bill Medical Massage services directly to your insurance provider. Services must be billed in 15-minute increments according to a diagnosis and procedure prescribed by a licensed, medical practitioner. You remain a patient of your doctor, while I provide Treatment  according to their prescription.
